WASHINGTON, March 22.--Major William N. Hensley, the first American Air Corps officer to make a non-stop flight by air from the United States to Europe, and a former Commandant of Mitchel Field, New York, died yesterday on a train while en route from Walter Reed Hospital to the Mayo Hospital at Rochester, Minn.
