Mr. Rhodes headed the Economics, Research and Investment Departments at the firm of Lionel D. Edie & Co. He was born in West Virginia and educated at Indiana University. He served in the Intelligence Corp during WWII. He is survived by his wife Sally and three sons Ross, Andrew and Mitchell Bartlett.
